Petaling Jaya, 6 January 2020 – Honda Malaysia (or the Company) wishes Happy New Year 2020 to all Malaysians and would like to celebrate the beginning of a new decade and upcoming Chinese New Year Festivities with a “2020 Starts Now” campaign. In conjunction with the celebrations, Malaysians can now enjoy extra bonuses and make the trip back to their hometowns during the festive holidays more convenient, comfortable and safe, thanks to the many great and advanced features in the Honda cars.
The “2020 Starts Now” campaign offers triple rewards amounting up to RM10,000* comprising Prosperity Rebate*, RM888 Extra Bonus* and Exclusive Gift*. All customers need to do is to register their new Honda cars between 1st and 31st January 2020*. The campaign is applicable for Jazz, Jazz Hybrid, City, City Hybrid, HR-V, HR-V Hybrid, BR-V, CR-V and Odyssey models.
In terms of sales, Honda Malaysia recorded more than 78,000 sales units from January to November 2019. From the sales record as well, Honda Malaysia maintained its No.1 Non-National car brand position as of November 2019. In addition, the B-segment** leader, the City, tops the chart with the highest contribution with 36%, followed by the most sought-after and Compact SUV segment leader, the HR-V with 19% contribution to Honda Malaysia’s overall sales as of November 2019. The CR-V is the third best-selling model during that period with 14% contribution recorded.
Honda Malaysia continues its efforts in improving after-sales services by having dealerships in different areas for customers’ easy accessibility and convenience. At the same time, Honda Malaysia offers improved hospitality at the dealerships for more enjoyable visit for customers. To-date, Honda Malaysia has 100 dealerships nationwide.
