INCREASING FIELD OF VISION, DECREASING BLIND SPOTS
MULTI-VIEW CAMERA SYSTEM
Drivers can view the surrounding of the vehicle using cameras that are mounted around the vehicle. It aids the driver when parking, pulling over to the roadside, entering low-visibility intersections and confirming the road ahead.
Surrounding images of the vehicle are captured by four CCD cameras (mounted in the front grille, left and right side mirrors and tailgate). These images are stitched together and displayed on the navigation screen, as a bird’s eye view.
Guidance lines calculated based on the turning angle of the steering wheel are also displayed.
